Be very careful with that college.

We did college ourselves and you probably got the idea by now how worthless it was and the 46K expense.

Strictly thinking truck training, I would imagine ASU would do good. Pay a visit and talk to the students and teachers on their property and look around the class room quietly while class is in session. See if the students are focused, joking around, bored or stressed and unhappy.

Before you do anything. A visit to look around teaches you wonders I imagine.

    Others have states different schools.

The thing about college. Implies student loans implies a federal debt that CANNOT be discharged. You can be garnished, refunds taken, retirement ss money taken, bank account taken etc etc etc should you die, your children OR estate probate has to find a way to settle this payment.

    Follow me?

27 taint bad. Don't be in a rush to marry, I didnt until around 32 or so. Good thing too I guess....

Some companies will reimburse the cdl school tuition back to you with monthly installments.
Go with a company that has APU and other driver comfort amenities:
Freymiller - tuition reimbursement/APU/pet & rider policy. "Restore Program" for new cdl grads & drivers with less than 6 mos. experience. Coast to coast refrigerated trucking.

I was told there are no loans for CDL school. It's because it isn't regular college class with credits and all.
You might try your State Employment office for a grant. That's what I have. For a good Jr. College CDL school. 240 hours of class time. It is Federal Grant money.
