I oike the APU so they don't complain about idleing if we are sitting at a customer or doing a 34 hour reset. Most companies have a strict idle policy but don't want to install APUs so drivers don't need to idle. Plus I will be running solo for a couple months before she gets her cdl so theres that.
Me and the wife are thinking about team driving. Need suggestions.

I am going to try and make videos of my experience there and training the wife and put them on my youtube channel.
G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
The wife is excited and nervous. She will have to go to a school thats a couple hours away because J&R Shugal requires a schools thats 240 hours or more it think it was. All the ones around us are only 160 or 180 or less. Luckily its the school I went to 10 years ago and her grandmother lives about 15 minutes away from it so she can stay there. Oh its TDDS in Lake Milton, OH if anyone was wondering.

You might not have a choice. Google DAC reports and see a stack of minimum time periods between rehire, new hire etc.
It took a certain amount of schooling, testing and so forth to get my spouse spooled up for training with me and teaming was the goal with FFE back in 2000. I joined as a solo prior to that happening upon her successful completing school etc. They could not wait to put us together and go.
And yes we were issued a auto back then. #### near 18 years ago as of this year to that. For what it's worth, silly things about CDL tests auto results in auto only restriction did not exist back then. She was eventually learning a manual when we ran with McKesson of Memphis. She did ok, but it's not her best forte. Sometimes I help her get back into gear to solve the trucks piling up around us (As light as we were too....)
There are many changing things happening very fast in the industry. One of the things you need to be patient with is that being a H/W team is potentially a very profitable time because companies would offer thousands of dollars cash to you two to hire on with them.Sleepy3103 Thanks this. -
Slow and steady with the uploading to YT, if you upload a certain amount or even stream to YT, your ISP service will measure and bill you accordingly for a certain amount over your regular bill each month depending on how much data you pushed to YT.

Check out @wfutch79 's diary, and experience with them as of late... he just got upgraded maybe less than a month ago. He has NOTHING BUT THE BEST to say about 'em, but for that 'some' trip planners don't use Google Maps, HA!!!
BEST of luck to you, for sure. PLEASE start a new thread / diary, and tag me in it!!
