No problem my friend. It's hard not to get outraged at injustice. It's kind of like riding a roller coaster over and over. First couple of times you need duct tape to keep your head from exploding but after enough rounds you still feel the whee but it's just not as intense. Maybe I've exhausted my supply of outrage adrenaline.

If that's really the case, 1) how do you get ANYWHERE due to the ridiculous number of careless drivers on the road which would have you lecturing someone pert near every mile you travel; and 2) I'm surprised you haven't been shot in self defense when you climbed out of your vehicle, approached the other, and assaulted the other driver by tugging at his earlobe.

Interesting in that not one single lost calling out the current the government and congress to get rid of it, imagine if Obama was still in office, the double standard never ceases to amaze me.

This is already in the works. A few months back they allowed carriers to sign up for a case study. They are split logging like the old days and collecting data on its fatigue effects.

Exactly. What delusional truck driver believes that his company will share any extra revenue from this? What's that driver.......you don't like sitting? You will wait and you will like it or you can quit. All they have to do is continue what they are already doing, that is.....churn baby churn.

Didn't read thru the thread but at this point to much money has been spent by the bigs and now even the small carriers have starter buying the equipment. Now that they have the equipment they will use it. I think the fate of elogs is sealed but signed anyway.

wonder which one of these eld brochures folks keep reading thinking that rates will go up, nonsense, the megas will pick up the slack in freight that us small timers will miss out on. They have the manpower and the trucks to repower freight all day long. this has been the master plan from the beginning, why else would they put all that money into the ata and lobbyist trying to get eld??? Come on guys!!

I think there will be certain circumstances that will see rates go up. But on a wide spread aspect, I don't see it. And the Mega's aren't going to pickup much if any slack from small carriers. It's the small carriers that have always picked up the slack they couldn't. It's going to be interesting, but I think after everyone gets in a groove it'll be business as usual.
