@Ssand Man will know.

I was at cdl school here in NC back in 2012 and a driver from DHT stopped by and talked to us. He had nothing but good things to say about the company. He was a no BS kinda guy and talked about running hard.
I'm going to call to find out more about teaming with my son who will get his cdl soon. -
No. Sorry guy. I don't know anything about DHT.JTHub Thanks this.
-
I was confused and thinking Freymiller!
-
I went ahead and put in my app with DHT and heard back from CJ that I'm good to go but will need to put in time with a trainer because of my lack of experience. I wasn't ready to jump in with both feet yet though. We are still looking at options but they are high on our list.

I worked for DHT very briefly this year. I had waaay too much going on in my life to be on the road for 2 weeks at a time ( I should have waited to start with them) It is a solid company! I was the only one in my orientation. They gave me a 2016 auto T680. Got me home when I requested. Averaged about 600 miles a day. Friendly office people...No one ever bothered me on the Q/C...I can go back anytime if I choose, I just needed to be home everyday at this point...Definitely a solid otr company with good running lanes.

I don't think they guarantee you an automatic but the percentage of manuals isn't high at all. I think its whats ever available when you're done with orientation...I had to take my road test in a manual 10 speed.

Mostly Kenworth tractors?
-
Yes. T-680's...They also have Freightliner Cascadia's. It seems I would only run into team drivers with the Freightliners.Steel Dragon Thanks this.
