i have a Detroit 60 series having loss of speed issue any hill or even a small underpass elevated causes me to lose speed and when I take off it takes so long to get from 0-70 like ridiculous long

    I have deleted egr
    Deleted vpod
    Turbo is direct and calibrated

Idk what else I can do also they commented to me that if clutch is adjusted to tight without play that can cause loss of speed is this right

    Check fuel filters. Water separator.
If you use a remote glass filter they have two filters, the one that get changed all the time and the one in the base of the filter.
    Check fuel pressure.

The clutch thing I think they are referring to the clutch brake, I am not terrible familiar with all the Detroit issues.

If there is lack of free play in the clutch pedal then there is pressure against the pressure plate, that leads to lack of pressure against the clutch disk, that in turn leads to a slipping clutch. You should/would see that indicated on the tach, as the clutch slips RPM's rise and speed/power is lost. There should always be pedal free play, adjusting it is one more maintenance item. Caveat, just because there is lack of free play that may not necessarily mean that there is slippage, yet.
