I have a peterbilt 389 pride and class bought it from Fitzgerald about 3 months ago I been hearing this ticking noise that only starts when I turn on my a/c noise seems to be coming from the back of the dash board at least I think it does i took it to peterbilt about 6 times and they keep giving me all this excusesand they have change parts and still no luck.any can help I would really appreciate thanks

Its most likely just the A/C clutch relay. Does the system contain the correct amount of refrigerant? Rapid clutch cycling can occur with a low or overcharged system. Other than relocating the relay to a different location, I'm not sure there is an easy resolution to your issue.

Yes peterbiilt check the freon on the truck every thing is at the right level now how does relocating the relay work??

The relay is right behind the gauge cluster and quite close to the driver. If you move it farther away and or insulate or wrap the relay it will be less noticeable. Just have to run the wires wherever you wanna move it to. Turn the radio up? Lol .....Proly not the answer your looking for is it?Youngtrucker91 Thanks this.

I'll just take it to a different peterbilt see what they say hopefully they have the better solution
