    Hi, thanks for responding, well do not sugar coat things, I will not think positive thoughts about wasting my time paging through all these pages, I'm on the road alot and work long hours, I expect quality when I buy something, stop getting your crap made in China and I believe you will not have so called bad batches, and what's making matters worse is the B.S. that I've had to go through to send and then pickup the new piece of junk that you send out, if my driving abilities matched your quality, I'd be out of a job. So again thank you for your reply but you lost a customer for life.

    Well gee, as an RM user and a contributor to this blog - Good luck finding an ALL AMERICAN made piece of electronics today. and im willing to bet you have either tried all the other GPS units, and just like to #####, or you, after so many years of using a book, just went out and bought your first one, and don't have a clue how to use it, what your doing and what to learn.
    Really - never had a problem with a new part on your truck? get real ##### on FB

    IM telling you Mark, mine has something going on with it. it didn't do this a few weeks back, but now that its hit the floor a few times after dropping off the base, it has started to do ths

    Anybody here can testify that I do not sugar coat things. I made word it so as to be PC or have to skirt around how I word something, but never sugar coat.

    You are not the first nor will be the last to take a negative attitude towards this support thread. I have helped thousands over the last 8 years on this support thread. How many have you helped in a truck stop if they have trouble backing into a space?

    Yes, I am at a desk now, but I put in 3 years OTR, so I can walk the walk here.

    Please do note the many recalls that are posted on trucks, class 8 trucks, etc. It is not uncommon sometimes to have a bad run of a part. Things do happen. They try not to, but whenever a human is involved you have the 10% factor. Not everyone is truly dedicated to their job. They don't care if the part they make works or not, they simply want to get a paycheck.

    Now I do note that you have been on TTR for a few years. You can find this thread to post your thoughts, but could not find this thread to ask for support when you first started having issues?

    Well after many calls with support they are asking I send my device in. Its a tndt80 and the truck gps app closes every time I open it. Sometimes it closes immediately and sometimes the gps will work for a little bit then I get the message of "unfortunately the truck gps app has closed".
    Or something along those lines. I have tried everything from a factory reset,gps data repair, re-installing the updates all over again and clearing app data. nothing works to keep the app running. Was wondering if there were any troubleshooting steps I missed.

    No, but I can help without you sending it in. We will have to basically start from scratch again since you did the Factory Reset. The Factory Reset basically just takes the Truck GPS, RM Launcher, RM Services, and Toll Apps and puts them back onto the version when the tablet was flashed.

    We will do the Factory Reset, but I have another trick up my sleeve that will get you updated again and correct this issue.

    I found a TND 80 for a really really good price so I pulled the trigger and ordered it to upgrade my fallen 720... is there any way to transfer my address book and such to this new device?
