    That's why I applied for my own MC today....eff it.

    I got a paid off truck, and I want to run as per *MY* schedule (on or off if I feel like it) and I'll be ###### if some lease-on company's dispatcher is dictating my schedule. If that's the case, I might as well be a company driver.

    If I earn $2K a week gross due to my schedule, Im ok with that. Too many company mentality floating around. (I know, coz I can see the responses coming....LOL)

    Thanks for the Response... That seems to be the only way I suppose it to get my own authority back. I had it many years ago. I can reactivate it. I have the cash to go that route. Just hate to go through all that and find out no one will hire me ... but surely once you submit your paper work to logistic companies they are not going to be asking those questions because its all on me.. my insurance and my numbers etc..
