I'm a few days late to the party; been busy as YKW pulling 6122 before our season 'ends' .... how did it all pan out for you, as of late?

    ALSO:
on a PS: @Bev .... now that I know who you are, you are more than welcome to follow me, ma'am! I've got mucho mega respect for your son; kinda been following him totally thru his whole process!!

Stay safe, man. Sorry about the (another!) rough week. It happens. Becomes the norm, for awhile, actually and unfortunately. It smooths out as time goes on; promise.

Been going pretty good this week. Started with a pickup in Dunedin, FL at Coca-Cola. That was a load of orange juice for Martin Brower in Fairfield, OH. From there I went to Glatfelter in Chillicothe, OH and picked up 50 rolls of paper for R.R. Donnelly in Monroe, WI.

I now sit here at our terminal in Tomah, WI. I have a preloaded trailer here that I am taking to Spartanburg, SC to Coveris. Not sure what it is just yet, havent got paperwork out of the box yet ..... its been raining pretty good here all night. Going to grab it when it dries up a little after the sun rises (hopefully). This load delivers Monday so ot will keep me busy most of the weekend.

I almost WISHED I had a haul this weekend...power went out and got me sleeping daytime hours, then I got up @ 0200 like I had to haul... and dang, I don't. I should relish the sleep/off time, but... the brain gets conditioned to work, LoL!

You were right here in MY BACK YARD in Fairfield AND you didn't tell me.. and Chilli'town? Wow. I was probably in Toledo when you came thru, LoL! Gonna have to pm ya my number for your Ohio days!!

    Be safe, man!

What a weekend it has been already. It has rained on my the entire weekend, starting Friday afternoon ... no end in sight either.

I also received some devastating news Friday evening .... my grandmother passed away. I was just with her last Friday and she was fine or seemed to be fine. She was looking through a catalog doing some Christmas shopping.

I notified my company and they told me to go ahead and continue on to South Carolina as there is plenty of stuff coming through here going to Florida .... they will be able to get a swap setup and get me headed home. I get here and now its a different story .... no swap in sight.

I am so upset right now. I feel like doing what I need to do to get myself home but that will mean losing my job .... which my grandma would not want me to do. My DM will be in the office in the morning ... hopefully he will be able to help me out.

Hang in there see what your DM says in the morning. It seems most companies have difficulty dealing with anything out of the ordinary on the weekend.

Dang, I'm SO sorry to hear that. Do what your GRANDMA would want you to do, man. She's comfy now; keep yourself and your bearings straight FOR her. Might be a bit wockeyjawed for the Columbus day 'holiday' but..... keep your head up, and your priorities where you KNOW she wants you to.

The day after I took my Grandma for a haircut....she decided she was 'ready.' It's THEIR call, not ours. Selfishness on 'our' part does no good by those that have made their peace.

    Hugs, man.

Be safe. Stay safe in this weather.

My condolences on the loss of your Grandmother. Keep your chin up and your eyes on Jesus. I know she would want you to do that. She is rejoicing in Heaven. Prayers for you and your family.
