There are no age limits on trailers that I'm aware of. I saw a bco with and old sni trailer yesterday that he added a lift gate to. I have a friend leased on with a 2000 year model dry van. And you don't have to put the logo on the trailer if you don't want to

Just keep in mind, if you finance thru Landstar, they charge about 9% if you have good credit, you can do much better with a finance company.
Cybercat, whoopNride and slow.rider Thank this. -
whoopNride Thanks this.

You shouldn't rely on land star to do that all the time. They will loan you if you're running enough in their mind to warrant you a loan! But remember their making money from this....but what you want to do is work toward self reliance! Establish an emergency fund for your truck...or maintenance fund! Whatever you wanna call it and take from it when needed, but replenish right away, or asap!
I keep 10 thousand in my maintenance account. I use the land star discount, and I thank yhem, but no thank you for the loan!Cybercat and whoopNride Thank this. -
Hi guys/girls,
Just got out of the HHG and never again, run freight for the same agent between IL & TX, but living in TN. I own 3 truck, my sons run with me. I'm considering to try LS, not for better rates but to get home more. Tell me can you do 2500 miles per week and average $1.80 per mile with LS? -

Once you learn your way around, learn what lanes to stay in and what loads to haul it is very attainable. -
Bosscity318, RStewart and whoopNride Thank this.

I have a 98 freightliner century 60series. Will I be able to drive for LS with this rig?
