the used truck is like uncut watermelon. you can get bla bla bla reports for $25, do dyno, get DOT-ed( hahahaha), ask for maintenance history from Jose or Ivan.... you won't be covered from future disasters. Buy a oem offered warranty for engine, aftertreatment for 1 year/100000 miles.

A visual inspection and a road test is good enough if you know what your looking at as well. If your staring at a Volvo with a Mercedes or some crap you might as well flip a coin.

Got an aftermarket fiberglass one on a 94 exh. Can't tell any difference

Until the cracks come. The 386 hoods break around the hood hinges all the time.
