"Our debt". If you did not ring it up...or steal it, it's not your debt. It is not my debt.

I hear many people say: "We're leaving generations to come with all this debt to pay." It is not their debt. A child born today or 5 or 10 years ago did not run up this debt.

So funny how these politicians go into office poor then become rich giving the tax payers money away and then call it a crisis, "something we must all face together".

If officers of an insurace company took all the premiums people paid and spent them without investing them in anything with real value, they would be sent to prison. But American politicians can do the same thing and call it Social Security and they have buildings named in their honor.

So does anyone know if Trucking was renegotiated? Mexican trucking companies are able to operate in the USA, is Trump negotiating that?

No doubt there would be winners and losers if NAFTA is eliminated. Inflation would be a winner, ie more inflation. Productivity would be a loser, ie less productivity

Nafta will never be eliminated. Too many businesses depend on it. How is USA going to export if you don’t have an agreement with other countries

I think nafta will fail and two separate deals will be made with Mexico and Canada , the negotiations haven't been going well

Why would it fail? Record trade is going on right now. I benefit from that trade, importing and exporting

Trump has been pushing his negotiators to get a much better deal then nafta (for the US) it hasn't been going well , neither Mexico or Canada like the proposals .
At some point he will pull out of nafta and make a new deal , with Mexico and Canada separately .
Trump has been saying nafta is the worst trade deal ever , for years .
I think he wants to put his mark on a new deal that's better for the American worker and American industry

And then what? Jeopardize billions of dollars in exports ? He thinks he can bully his way to better deal and that can backfire. Yea he cares about American worker by making all his stuff overseas
