Lemme guess -- it'll be the front-line workers, not the decision-makers, whose jobs will be cut. Let's cut a couple of those official's jobs and save the guys whose efforts actually keep the turnpike patched together and who clear the roadway in the winter time. Whaddya think -- we can probably save four or five hourly jobs by cutting just one official? Hmmm...

It's a toll road, it has to turn a profit. I always thought tolls were just highway robbery.
If they start cutting the collectors you will see more drivers avioding the roaddo to long lines at the toll booths. -
They plan to open more EZpass lanes. PA wants to go with EZpass only in the near future.
