Dispatching is a lousy business with a limited future even with the Bulgarian angle. I know for a fact that there are Polish dispatch ops with call centers in Poland that are charging 3%. I know some South American guys who are doing a fairly good job for 3.5%.

Those guys are your competition not the scumbag your family is with. 10% is way above market too high. 6.5% is probably close to the industry standard with some offering to do it for less than half that.

There's actually nothing really stopping the OP from finding his family loads. All that requires is the login to their loadboards and a phone. Probably a pretty good experience to have as early jobs go actually.
