You do know it isn't the 14 hour clock you need to worry about but the 11 hour clock?

Not really, just take a 10 hour break and you’re good to go.

How can he trip plan that? I've been out here a lot of years, this is trucking. He did his job, he secured the load and found a safe place to park. Your comment is beyond ridiculous.

Yes, I do occasionally work 22 hours in a day, with quite a bit of bunk time in there too. My average length of haul is under 100 miles. I feed the Big 3 auto parts to keep them up and running, and am rewarded handsomely. I'm the guy that plays cleanup when the other guys run out of hours at the dock, I am the rescue crew. ;-)

28 years out here, call it 30, it feels like 50, no incidents and 3 tickets back when the speed limit was 55. Enough said. And I own the truck, and take care of the truck, and pay the bills. I think I know what I am doing.

I thought they all matter don't they? The 1st half of my day was mostly sitting at the 90 and getting a trailer washout.
