I got myself into another situation. I'm suppose to be on my way home to Mississippi and I guess my fm is attempting to get me down there but here's the issue, my 70 hrs clock only has 1hr left on it and I only get back 3hr 20mins tonight. I only have 4hrs and 20 mins to go 200 miles and I'm concerned bc the load is going to ATL and I know traffic there is pretty bad especially on a Friday. I'm worried that I won't have time to drive there, drop off, and find somewhere to park by the time my clock runs out. I explained this to the fm but he said this is the only load that he has that can get me closer to Mississippi.
Another thing: has anyone ever had issue with your fm getting you home on time? I ask bc I put in my request more then 10 days in advanced and my fm still couldn't get me home on time.
Like always any good advice is always appreciated.

it your 70 are up you must stop however once you've had a 8/10 hr break you could still drive for a few hours the next day which will get you back to base or home it just means your clock don't reset till you have a 34 hr break.
