Stevens Transport also runs teams if that's what you want; they also have solo positions. Teaming is really hard sometimes because you're stuck in a truck 24/7 with someone else.
There's some good outfits available for NC drivers that attend private or community college cdl schools such as Magnum Ltd.
Contract Freighters (www.cfidrive.com) pays for private cdl school and also has their own school in Joplin,MO.
Here's a few that have their own cdl training in NC:
Millis Transfer - Eden,NC
East-West Inc. - www.goeastwestinc.com - Swannanoa, NC - team or solo.
Carolina Logistics - Chandler, NC - this is more for people that want to be owner-operators, from my understanding.

I'm a former IT guy, been a trucker, or actually trying to be a trucker, for the last almost 10 years.....DON'T DO IT! I should stayed where I was, would have two retirements by now, well one, still a little longer for the other (Military). Got out of the Military so me and the wife could get rich! Lasted 2 years..... Should of stayed right where I was.... Best of luck to you..
