Hi everyone, I’ve been snooping on this forum pretty religiously for the past few months as I gear up for my career change. I’m currently in the second half of the 5 week program at NTI in Maine. I passed my permit test, hazmat, tanker, doubles/triples endorsements. I’ve applied to several jobs so far mostly with local fuel transport companies, a local company that hauls logs, chips, and flatbed regionally, and am currently applying to superior carriers and several others. My hold up is the superior application won’t let me move on without providing a hazmat liscense number. Is this the “receipt number” on the blue card I got at the dmv?

It's your drivers license number.
Slim51 Thanks this. -
They will also want to see the certificate and your transcript from trucking school. Dont bother applying until you have completed school with CDL in hand. They are very selective about who they hire and where you go to school.

I start CDL school in one week. I have Six offers for jobs.

In my state. The license number won't change. Just the Class of the license. If you have hazmat right now. It's on your class c.

I guess they do it their way? All my stuff is on their computer.
I got a doubles/triples endorsement. Mine couldn't put it on my B. They have it on the computer, waiting for me to walk in with my passed road test for A. That simple. Told me I don't have to bring anything.
Maybe your state will even change your license number? I don't know?Waterboy334 Thanks this.
