Ask any linehaul driver at old dominion or Saia. Or many car haulers that run in the rite areas.

I don't care enough to give you "proof" but I promise I know from experience that there are a lot of driving jobs that pay in excess off 100k a year for company drivers. And owner operators that make 400k a year and net over 150k.

If you are willing to be an above average driver you can make above average pay!

There are plenty, but not "a lot" in the grand scheme of things. UPS is a good example. Plenty of LTL linehaul drivers also in that ballpark, home every day.

There could be more if drivers would quit settling for less.

WE have several that come close to $100k. They work 15
to 18 hours a day. I don't want to work that hard......I want
to have a life away from my job.....also it is not legal. One of
these days they will get busted and I don't think the money
    is worth the risk.

Toss in owner operators that either have their own authority or are leased to a decent outfit that pays a percentage and there are a LOT of drivers making over $100K a year that are home every night or most nights.

What's a LOT? From the same data set that CBS got their number from, the top 10% make over 63k or about 170,000 drivers.
