From what I understand...In order to get on with sand box directly...you have to have 10 trucks or more before they even talk with you

Still alot of companies that don't charge up front money , that's a bunch of B S never have I heard of that ,if they can't afford to have insurance like all other companies right there is a red flag to me that means they aren't very strong company

Actually I talked to a few of the contracted companies before I signed up and they were all charging insurance. I went with them since they seemed more structured. I paid the money and I figured I've made it all back so I'm not worried about it. I've been here for 6 weeks now and it's been great. I had initially gone straight to sand box but i didn't have all that they were asking from me, in addition to the fact that they don't pay for over 60 days. They also don't give you priority if you come in with less than 5 trucks so paying the $2500 for me, at least was worth it. I don't sit for days hoping to get a dispatch. The last 4 weeks have been great for me. I grossed what they told me I would each week and although like ljsmith729 said the work is not always piece of cake, I have no complaints about the company either. I get paid and that's the most important thing.

The orientation is through sandbox and what kind of training do you mean? I was otr before with no oilfield exp and i quickly got the hang of it. The hardest part in the beginning for me was not knowing where the locations were but you can overcome that soon enough. Also I've never heard them offer 100/hr for detention. I don't know if they have an office or not but that hasn't really been an issue because they let me email the paperwork. I wonder why you're having such a bad experience? If i ever have any issues I can usually text or call them and they're pretty helpful. If your still with em hmu bro I'd like to help if I could.

As O/O for many years I've heard of that before so to me it wasn't shocking nor a red flag.
