It makes me think of any time a road floods. Idiots always drive up to it, see it's flooded, and can't figure out what to do so they just motor on through... only to get stuck halfway. Lol. Your picture there is the only way to describe it.

Steel Dragon and pattyj Thank this.

I just stop and let someone with bigger balls try it first. If its not deep, I'll follow. If they get stuck, I'm turning around and finding a different route.

That's not a very accurate description of the video. The light pole is in the 2 left lanes, where most cars go. The truckers are in the right lanes where there is no light pole to hit.

The light pole was probably knocked down by a truck making a u turn on the highway.

Eh, if you have a full size truck or SUV you can drive right over it no problem. Plenty of ground clearance and frankly the better option, especially since the right lane was full of trucks.

It was in the center lane at the beginning of the video, repeated hits by 4 wheelers kept displacing from the center lane to the left lane , and back again. Quite surprising that no one actually crashed as a result of running over or avoiding the pole, though it looked really close on a couple of those who launched over it.

I was hoping that some other driver would get off of their rear and assist the driver who did that, all traffic had halted at that point, yet as soon as he had the center lane cleared the truck directly blocked decided it was Ok to proceed, what a jack@ss.

The driver who moved that pole likely saved someone's life at risk to his own. Thanks!

Very doubtful, there were jersey barriers dividing the lanes, no where to u-turn to. My guess is it fell off of another truck traveling the road.

Jersey barriers only stop them from getting into the right lane. It doesn't stop them from making u turns.

That highway was atleast four lanes wide. Plenty of room to swing a Uy.

Anyone have the video of the Swift truck going the wrong way?
