I don't get how anyone could work for that little. I am turning down $2/mi freight.

The only way they are close to making that work is when the carrier is paying the plates and insurance. Plus having a healthy fuel surcharge. Now what are those odds lol

There is a small company here that does that. Monday through Friday, $1.12/mi. 2100 miles a week. After fuel, payroll, maintenance, savings, taxes. Oh wait, that money won't last for payroll after fuel...
Fools think that is still a great deal.

It's better than JCT. They have a calculator on their website so you can see how much you're getting screwed. 90¢ a mile til November 1st, then 93¢ a mile after November 1st, then 96¢ a mile after December 1st. Rolling in the big dough there. I don't get it. I know they do reefer and probably get spot market at least. Take spot market for reefer 2.33 a mile currently so you get 96¢ a mile every mile you drive they get $1.37 a mile for every mile you drive. These people are crooks. They have never seen so much from actual larceny they've got it legal now/ You will slave for less than dollar and somehow it's legal.
