Anyone know anything about becoming a FEMA trucker, I heard they are paying $750/day in the U.S. and $1000/day in Puerto Rico?

If they were paying that don't you think everyone would be doing it?

They are supposedly, my friend that works at Stolt Nilsson that loads tankers and rail tankers uses one scale to scale trucks, there's always 30 or more trucks in line to scale, last 2-3 weeks he said there's no more than 4-8 trucks at a time now, production at Stolt is going down, he asked what happened a driver told him the drivers went to FEMA.

Ok. I dont know any, but Ill take your word for it.

It's not my word, I don't know if it's true either, I know drivers are driving for fema, I'm just not sure about the pay, I'm just asking and saying, maybe we need to do a little research cause of it is true I'm gone.Grubby and CrappieJunkie Thank this.

If it is true its tempting but I got a local gig. Like being home every day now.
-
I bet fema truckers are home all night...

My co workers were just doing fema work. They said it was one of the worst things they’ve ever done. The traffic in Houston is worse than normal right now and some days you will work 36 hours straight. They got 7 grand to go down there for a month or so.
