Crash kills trucker on Thruway in central NY

UTICA, N.Y. (AP) - The head-on crash of 2 tractor-trailer rigs has killed 1 of the drivers and closed the eastbound New York State Thruway between Westmoreland and Utica.
State police spokesman Jim Simpson says a westbound truck went off the highway between exits 31 and 32, veered across the median and slammed into an eastbound truck.
Simpson says the driver of the westbound truck was killed and the other driver was injured. The victim, whose name has not yet been released, was a resident of the area.
State police got a call about the accident at around 11:45 a.m. Wednesday.
Eastbound lanes remain closed just after 2 p.m. and the Thruway Authority says the westbound passing is also closed as police investigate the wreck.

saw this one on my way to Michigan for a family reunion... bad news.. bad scene actually

wasn't able to get a shot of the truck that caused the wreck but here is the "Innocent Bystander" that got hit
