I was fresh put of school in 1993, bumped around with a couple lousy jobs for a few months before I got my first break at a local concrete and aggregate company. I count them as my first "real" driving job, I was hired as a mixer driver. At this company, everyone started as a mixer driver, then when the time was right (when one of the dump truck drivers retired or died :biggrin_2559:), if you wanted to, you could move up to a transfer truck. The only reason I left was because where I live, mixer work is very seasonal (lots and lots of rain). I was still able to move into chemical tankers and soon to LTL work. So don't be concerned that you're limiting yourself. Opportunity is always there, it's just a matter of timing.

Hopefully this will work better than western express. Remember to stay cool and collected at the piss test. ;-p
