    It kinda hits the owner of the truckand myself i would assume, as ive said i get 40% of whatever the truck makes so in essence id ha e to assume this expense comes off the top prior to the split.

    Yes, i do the same for fuel as well. If i make 40% of the trucks NET profit ypu can bet your ### i write off my part of the overhead even if i never actually see it. I basically jist write off 50% and call it a day, if i fuel up for $300 bucks i write it off as if i paid $150 of that.

    Heck i wish, called 30 places today. 22.5's all over but the step deck trailer takes 19.5's. Had to order one, have it around 10 am then finally get rolling.

    I nearly did the same thing this morning. Customer needed me to unload in the employee parking lot. I haven't chewed out a broker that hard in a while!
