Based on what ... not internet polls.

When I was at CRE a driver was getting killed every couple of weeks in the winter. They had thier prepass pulled and most of their trucks were getting pulled in for a level 1 every quarter.

The problem with this industry is that guys go to CRE then to swift. And somehow think it’s a good place. You need to go to a place where you walk in and say I need a job and get one.

    So Cat...
What are you trying to show with that last picture?

You love posting pics with no back story.
It was not a low clearance situation, as the sign shows at least a 15 foot clearance. So what exactly was the story behind the picture?

Or are you only about bashing Swift, with no regard to what actually happened?

In my book, you are nothing but the worst kind of troll.

    My paycheck is fine.
And I run how I want to run, pure and simple.

What is so hard to understand with that?

I defend Swift because they don't do me wrong, and what is hard to understand about that?
They don't care about me... in what way?
If I have a beef I bring it up, and it gets resolved. I run my hours the way I want to, and no one says anything bad and I am not penalized as a result of doing so. If I ask for an extra day of home time it is not questioned, my PTA is simply set for a day later.
And all this, when I 'hardly run'.

Drivers that don't run decent miles don't last very long in any trucking company.
Drivers that are not safe and on time last an even shorter time.

I run my clock to make sure I can be safe and on time - ALL the time!
And that counts a lot with Swift.

I may not be a hotshot that wants as many miles at whatever cost, like so many think they have to be.
What I am is a person that understands what he can do safely and reliably within the system that I work under to get the job done - while also doing it to my own liking.

    Swift, I think, understands this.
Otherwise they would simply replace me, a nearly 7 year employee with the pay, with a body fresh from school that works on the cheap that would maybe cost them less.

    So, Rugerfan, go stuff yourself.

Let's take a head count of how many drivers work for Swift, and how many of those are in this forum.
Then let's add in the drivers that had bad experiences with Swift.

There are a few current Swift drivers here. There are many more that have worked for Swift in the past that left for whatever reason, and some positive or negative.

Then there are those that have not worked for Swift that simply like to comment, for whatever reason.

The vast majority are those that have had a bad experience or those that have no experience with Swift.
They simply want to vent or gripe or whine or bash.

But in my experience, the job is what you make of it.
I doesn't matter what company you work for, or what company you own. You either make or break it by what YOU do!

A small fraction of one percent of current Swift drivers are even here.
I may be the smallest fraction of that, in that I actually like working for Swift.

But I don't care if I am the smallest fraction of the smallest percentage.
    I like it here.

@Moosetek13 - keep in mind you are not a typical driver, not just at Swift but amongst all drivers. Your experience at Swift and mine at Schneider are different than the vast majority of drivers who start with our respective companies. There are a few of us that find a good home at the megas, butbour company's business models are based upon turnover. They can deny it all they want, and Id guess turnover is higher than they want right now, but after a certain point they dont care if they retain us. Try to see the humor in these pictures, try and learn something if you can, then dont worry about it.
