80% of 0 is still 0. If they are claiming "plenty of miles" that tells us that they pay crap and you have to run 3k miles a week to make anything.
Why do people do this to themselves?

 

If it’s a mileage pay based deal I could see being excited about plenty of miles. But at 80% you are supposed to run smarter, not harder

 

You shouldn't want "plenty of miles" as an owner operator, you want to make your money on as little miles as possible.
The carrier is trying to get dumb company driver mentality drivers to join up.

 

After 12 months if you've banked over $50,000 yeah its good dough.

 

You can make more than $50k as a company driver without the risk and headaches
