Support Thread for the TND 500, TND 700 or future Rand McNally products. (part two)

I-69 North, before the interchange with the Pennyrile Pkwy becoming WKP at The Pennyrile Pkwy. In your pic coming from the left side of the pic toward the right side.

Lane Guidance says "keep Left" for WK Pkwy. You actually need to take right exit/spilt and then Keep Left to take the WKP going East. Going from say Paducah, KY to Elizabethtown, KY. As I've said the Hwy/Dir symbols on the GPS are always correct so you can do the right thing if you ignore the very occasionally wrong lane guidance.

 

Would a micro sdxc work in my tnd 80 tablet? I have a very generic 8gb card in there now but want to add more storage to add music to the tablet since it’s already plugged into the aux of my radio...

2 map bugs I've found.

The I65 toll bridge leaving Louisville, the 740 will think I'm in the river when I cross the bridge. The bridge looks pretty new so I'm just guessing its not in the map data yet. It's fine when I cross the bridge entering Louisville.

This next one is hard to explain. I 24 in Antioch Tennessee. I don't recall the mile marker (it's before the T/A if heading east though) but you cross a relatively low bridge, so low that the 740 thinks I'm on the road below it and recalculates the route. Happens both east and west bound.

What's up with the latest dock software? It doesn't have the D/R function on it and no boxes which indicate if there are any updates available,model # and registered user is not showing.
Update: Unplugged unit and plugged back in and now dock is showing properly. All good for now.

 

Dear Mark, I have a problem with my tablet TNDT80. My tablet stopped loading more than the black screensaver "RAND McNALLY". Factory reset does not help.Perhaps there is some way to recovery? Help me please.. Thanks
