Go to atwoods or tractor supply and get it for like $4-6 a gallon in a 5 gal bucket.

Atwoods even had their full synthetic 5w40 for like $18 in a 2 gallon jug. Have been meaning to see if anyone has tested the additive package in that oil.

    That's funny !
My consumption isn't crazy and Cummins says it's normal at my mileage but I'm sure I'm looking at an inframe within the next couple years .
So no point in pouring high doller make up oil in it ..

Loves oil is made by Pinnacle Oil, nothing wrong with it. Most private label oils are made by reputable companies and are totally fine. The only thing to watch for on private label products is that they may switch manufacturers at any time.

On my last car, I gave up name brand oils after the warranty ran out. I gave that 97 dodge to a friend 2 years ago with 367,000 miles on it. It's got over 400K now and still running on Walmart oil.

My thoughts are mixed oil brands are sure better than low oil. We have an oil company at home that handles a Cenex brand. They are trying to get me to buy my fuel there. Gave me a heck of a deal on it. I'm breaking in a new out of frame motor job with it

I used to throw whatever was on the shelf at the auto parts store in my pickup. The 360 in it didn't really care. I think I ran 15w-40 in it once or twice lol.
