Here is the original link to his thread for those that were interested steer away! VIN # 1FUJGLDR3ASAR1745 in case seller decides to pull the listing, I will copy and attach it below.

    2010 Cascadia DD15 w/fresh inframe

Seller claims that it had an in frame engine rebuild done, he has a PDF file that shows a receipt of parts for an in frame rebuild, however its just a parts list and not an actual receipt showing that the work was performed.

I found out by calling Doggett Freightliner Dealership of San Antonio Texas this morning as I am writing this now to confirm if the work was done. I was going to book a flight next week to pick this truck up but I’m glad I didn’t waste money on the dyno I had scheduled it for. I’m not sure if the seller was confused by a camshaft in frame that was done or he is just trying to pass on his soon to be problematic truck to someone else. From speaking to the service department and by looking at the invoice, it was just a starter they had replaced. When I questioned the seller about what happened he said he lost power and that it wouldn’t turn over while he was getting loaded so it seems to all make sense with the comments on the invoice as it states it on there and not the engine rebuild.

The truck is on its original engine, turbo, clutch, transmission, rear end. Pretty sure it will need one of these rebuilt as soon as you get it. Do your homework and research and it’ll save you the headache. If anyone would like to see a copy of the invoices I’d be glad to forward them to you. The seller has the truck posted on a few websites like trucker 2 trucker . com and craigslist.

    condition: good
    make / manufacturer: Freightliner
    model name / number: Cascadia

DD15 Engine has just 32,000 miles on it and was rebuilt at the Freightliner of San Antonio in July of this year at 905,592 miles. Also had a new Main Engine Wire Harness, Driver seat and DPF filter installed in San Antonio when the engine was rebuilt.

    10-speed Eaton Fuller
    238" wheel base
    22.5 LP Tires
    Sliding 5th wheel
    Airbag dump
    Locking differentials.
    Power Windows/mirrors
    Heated Mirrors
    Alcoa Aluminum Wheels
Just had a PM and 3 axle Alignment

The following parts on the truck are also less than a year old:

    SamCab
    SamChassis
    Fuel Control Valve
    EGR Cooler
    EGR Actuator
    Oil Filter Module
    Waterpump
    Steering Gearbox
    Alternator/Starter
    AC Compressor/condenser
    Gel Batteries.

The Hendricks Front Axle (2 air bags) is just over a year old.
The MCM was replaced in 2015.

The truck also has a 3000 watt Powerdrive inverter with cutoff breaker at the batteries.

All the above work was performed and installed at Freightliner dealerships and I have ALL invoices.

It will need a new set of drives more than likely but the steers still have a lot of tread on them.

The truck is VERY clean, with a SOLID engine, in great overall shape and ready to go to work for you today!

I am asking $21,000 for the truck, and its a steal at that price! Where else are you going to find a truck with 32k miles on a brand new inframe, in this kind of shape, for that price? You won't! You'll be looking at trucks all day for 10-20k more with 500k+ miles on the engine OR 700-900k for the same price or 10k less and still be looking at paying for an inframe like this one in less than a year, maybe two. The inframe was almost $24k by itself, took me a week before they could even get it in, that's after the $1000 tow bill, then it took them two weeks to complete the inframe (they had to order some of the parts).

Look, I'm trying to make this easy for you!

I have also listed about $16k in new parts/labor above, that are less than a year old. Like a mentioned above, I have ALL the invoices on the work, and all work was done at Freightliner Dealerships.

    FAQs:
Why are you selling the truck after investing so much money into it?
What sparked this all was my wife doing my quarterly's this year (she is also my accountant). She asked me if I even knew how many days I was out last year...when she told me over 320 days I was like WTF am I doing this for? I have been driving like this for the last 14 years. My kids are all grown and out of college now so I've decided to take the chance in pursuing a new career. Hard to do something like that when you have kids in school; doctor bills, school clothes, and two growing boys that eat like horses and their college tuition's to pay for. This is my shot to do something different, and live a little more of the life I have left to me out from behind a steering wheel, so I'm taking it! That's why I'm selling the truck!!

    Are you legit?
Yes, I am as legit a seller as you're going to find! I'm just trying to get out of trucking, PERIOD! Call me, let's get this truck working for you! The truck has a clean title and 1 lien on it by the bank (just whats left of the truck loan). I will give you the name and location of the bank and let you google them, call the main number listed on their website and let you ask for the banker(I will give you his name to ask for), as you will be making your check, wire or cash payment to the bank (not me) to get the lien release along with the title for the truck. That's about as legit as it gets!

Good catch. I looked up his mc/dot # that is clearly shown in the photos to look at recent inspection results. I knew something didn't jive on this. Glad you didn't invest $ and lose it.
