I had 2 Garmin gps’s die on me this year I’m done with them. I called them and they keep telling me to do an update how can I do an update when the thing won’t even turn on. Lol

My 30 lasted about 7 months and now it just turns on, white screens and then turns back off. Gave up on it.

That's good. Maybe bad luck who knows.

For me.. Plenty of Dashcams out there. If mine quits when it's less than 2 years old.
    I will find another manufacturer.

It must be a hardware problem...

And Garmin sent me a refurbished Garmin 35... to replace my old one... even though my old one was 1 year 6 months old and I had not purchased any extended warranty... :biggrin_25512:
This one now is working fine... so far... :biggrin_25519:

I have tried to find a Garmin 55 but none of the stores around here have it... Actually they are out of any Garmin dash cam... I would have to order online but as I will be hitting the road again this coming Friday, there's no time for that... besides, I would like to "play" with it before buying...
I saw on Youtube the image quality of Garmin 55 seems to be pretty good and the view angle is bigger than Garmin 35 too...

    Moon_beam Thanks this.
