    Felt so good after that shower I went and drove another 140 miles. Parked at the Ute casino in Colorado on US 491. Looks like a nice place but I ain't playing tonight. Sleep and drive and repeat. I should be in Portland early enough Sunday that I can watch some football and interview co-driver candidates. Chillin like a villian.

    Even I envy my life sometimes.

    I literally just got paid out on my productivity bonus from October, so I lost nothing there, and ended up going up a notch in pay. Pretty much evens out. It's good the mileage bands are smaller for increases. My two cents.

    I was was at 42.5 plus 1.5 longevity for a total of 44 cents. It looks like my new rate is 45 cents,so I am up a penny per mile.
    .no complaints.

    Travelers Oasis, twin falls Idaho for the night. Did my favorite route today...US 191 in Utah.

    Fool and routing... I mean fuel and routing wanted me to hundreds of miles of state highway in Nevada...bleck...no offense Keeker...

    191 looked flatter and I don't get tired of that view...7 miles out of route on a 1600 mile trip...

    Keeker, glad you got those axles sealed... don't need any extra heat with your 1.4!

    No joke, could have bought it yesterday at midnight on I-40 with my 1.4.... was passing a Stevens near Laguna around midnight, and I see a car about quarter mile up coming across the median, down and into my lane accelerating straight for me. Ummm. I blinked highs, put flashers on, and maintained my lane- I have semi to right so couldn't move. The car passed me in while I'm in hammer lane going wrong way on shoulder. I'm thinking one too many beers for that driver? I've got it on dash cam and it sure woke me up!
