Anyone Haul Trash From Brooklyn NY & Kearny NJ to PA

I have noticed ya don't see as many garbage haulers on 80 in pa since kephart and Gary gray went out .

 

You can also haul trash to upstate NY. Mbi, gotta do contracting are 2 companies off top my head you may be able to get loads from.

 

I worked for MBI out of the main yard in Burnham, IL. When did they start contracting work out?

Freshkills waste management facility was closed in 2001. All the waste is now baled, put in containers and shipped via train to South Carolina.

 

@Ruckie didn't you haul Jersey trash?

 

I did for a few, but most of the trips I did were to west Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania and probably 1 or 2 to upstate ny, heavy truck destroying dot magnet stuff a Lot of the people drive over night and the trucks are constantly in the shop only good thing is is consistent workthat's where the good things end

 

Veolia is another company besides waste management, I drove for kephart for a couple of years hauling out of Brooklyn, queens, jersey city and Paterson, wouldn't want to do it with my truck its very hard on equipment running in the landfill. DEP would probably be the people to contact about that
