Some of the questions are old I think. There's a couple double-clutching questions and I don't see anything about double-clutching in my manual.
I took note just in case.

My advice for you, I strongly urge you to do this before starting the dmv test. Take these two practice test programs. Each is kind of different from the other. They have 30, 40, and 50 question practice tests and exam mode. I recommend at least several days of taking each regiment, general knowledge, doubles and triples, air brakes, and this nice shining gem, CVO. The CVO is the first test in the dps written exam. It's 20 questions. Many people will get caught off guard because special rules is located in I believe section 14 of the handbook. It is vague at best, and writing stuff as you read may help, but repetition helps when taking these program tests. Many if not most of the questions are worded exactly or very closely to the actual dmv test. The programs are for android: CDL study buddy free (this one is awesome, BUT it doesn't have CVO special rules on it.) The next one is Texas Driver License Test (this in, go to commercial drivers license practice test...towards the bottom, you'll see special requirements)...both these apps are developed by JackzAppz
I found out the hard way failing my CVO a few times despite reading that section. I HIGHLY recommend these two apps. Take them liberally day after day. Don't test at dps until you score a 90 above on the 30, 40, 50 question practice tests, and then the exam modes. Finalize the night before the test itself. Then before going to the dps, get one final round in. You will have memorized everything and you'll likely fly through each test. I aced everything except air brakes, I missed two. Everything else I got a hundred, and the dps lady was shocked. I had left my phone and had nothing on me to imply cheating.
This method really helped me, and helped me feel much more confident when taking the actual tests. Your mileage may vary.Cerberus XVI and TravR1 Thank this. -
Thanks! I have like three apps on my phone I am working through. One is the study buddy.
