Back on the road. Lease purchase with JB Hunt

It's not hard to speak. But it Does take a lot of effort. They are very strict.

 

Back on topic. We have PeopleNet too but don't have that issue. Must be something specific with them.

 

I'm still trying to figure out what you get out of that 35% you pay Hunt

 

Trailer, factoring mostly.

 

JB has some excellent freight. I pulled some JB brokered loads when I was leased onto Triple C. Several of those were $1,000 days after Triple C's cut ( 20%).

 

That's something I never understood about leasing to a large van company. Paying them to hook a trailer they own to a truck they own. To drop at one of their customers. Rinse and repeat.

And on top of that she will have over $75,000 in payments on a 2013 Cascadia?

 

20% is understandable and a reasonable number

 

Well a lot are pre loaded.So you have several tens of millions of dollars invested in trailers.

 

I was the last one in @80%. He charges 25% now, and $100 week for a trailer.

 

Cost of doing business.

I guess it's just my bias
