Well buddy hope it works out for you the key here is that they give you enough miles so you can make the $525 per week payments and you've got enough left over after paying them to use for your family.

    UturnGirl Thanks this.

To me it's more reasonable to pay a fixed fee for a trailer.

It's six of one, half a dozen of the other to me. LS you can pull your own trailer, and get an additional 7%, but every load is going to be a live load. And you cut yourself out of the loop for all the pre loaded freight, which is very substantial, and a lot of it pays very well.

I may have overreacted a bit. It is a jb hunt thing which is why it is so aggravating. Besides I do not want to receive a serious scolding. The only time it is a problem is dragging heavy uphill. Multiple nimrods zip in front of me too close and if I back off I lose momentum. Sigh.

I'm happy for all the input you all give me here. Positive and negative. That's what my thread is about...sharing how this thing works out for me. I won't end up paying 70 grand for the truck but it is close to 60. Their trailers are in really good shape. I've only had one set of tandem require the assistance of a line backer so far. JB is running me like a rented mule and I'm about to do my 2nd $1000 day this week. Hoping the numbers add up. Again I am grateful for all y'all. Happy Thanksgiving.

Seems like 2013’s are going for around 30-40 on the open market. Ouch.

I think the deal I got is ok. If you look at the warrantee and guarantees that came with. Plus don't have cash to buy outright so there would have been interest on a loan. Lol..couldnt find anyone giving them away.

It's all water over the dam now anyway. I wouldn't worry about want anyone thinks or says. You're never gonna satisfy the people on this forum, and you're in no way obligated to. As long you're good with your deal, you're good.

    #### the torpedoes, full speed ahead.
