This look like I am lying? Look at the date of the deposit. Look at my post date for the bad week. This direct deposit is for that week. Minus $100.00 that I always take out to run on each week. Deposited. $662.97 + $100.00 advance = $772.97 apology accepted.

Like I said my avg to the house is 800 -1200 I do have some bad weeks. Next week will be my worst with mav. Had a dentist appt and did not leave the house till tuesday. I was empty and went to our madison yard to swap out a bad trailer. I was to load tuesday and my load cancelled. Did not load till wednesday. Made my drop on thursday and got a preload to the house on friday. Will be one sorry check......:biggrin_2554: I know a guy that lives in OK. He was in a accident and was let go. (not from mav) he is working somewhere and gets home several times a week. I know they don't use DAC. I will get some info and pass it to you. Maybe it will help you.

I have called him tonight. I usually get a voice mail and he will call back in a day or two. Sometimes he just calls out of the blue. He had a odd recording this time. Not sure maybe he has not paid his cell bill. The person you called is not accepting calls at this time? There was a guy I went to orienatation with. Mav was his first driving job. He pointed out and was fired. He hit a curb and blew tires. Then he removed his tarp box. He got some log points and later hit a pick up. He could not find work, but got hired on with SMX. He said they are running the fire out of him, but he has to stay out 2 weeks at a time until he can get on a regional. He said they are better than western express. You might look at them. I know his DAC had to be rough looking. He also said SMX has a boat account that pays a lot more, but they stay out a good bit.

Sorry Notarps if I offended you to the point that you felt that taking a picture would humble me. :biggrin_25525: I shouldnt have used the word "lying". Because some people can easily take offense to that, so I apologize. What Im getting at about the pay is and there is not enough space here to put everything, is that in my opinion, all the extra work involved and danger is not worth it. My rolling average pulling a dry van is between $750 and $775, net. This is because I can devote more time to moving rather then tarping and sitting at shippers and receivers waiting for a crane, etc. I originally got into flatbedding becasue I like physical work and being out and about, but in the end I decided that more money for doing and dealing with less was a better option. Your pay is the average net amount I believe, which does not equal mavericks claim of $52000 per year. You should also be at the higher end of the pay scale. And rememeber that maverick specialized drivers are shorted even more pay per mile then the US division, so actually, they probably are not making more. Please let this thread be the specialized thread.
