How about you show us where it says it illegal to carry in a commercial vehicle. This law doesn't specify..

And just to give you a personal experience.. I often must take my truck on a WA State Ferry. There are often State Patrol officers with dogs. Since I have a tank truck, I'm often searched. Each time I have had a loaded pistol in my cab and each time I informed the officer prior to the search. All I've ever been asked to do was show my permit and only once asked to show my pistol.

Lots of times, but some don't feel the need to pay attention to the facts.

depends where you live and if the state you live in is that state or works with the laws of that state on gun control. I dont think you can legally drive across this country all states with a loaded hand gun in a commercial truck. All you gun slingers say you can so show me in the federal regs that you can. -
No argument there..
-
No one said you could drive across all states with a loaded handgun in any vehicle, commercial truck or private vehicle.
HOWEVER, we have said that you can go through many states with a loaded handgun. The others can be taken care of by securing your gun according to federal law. It's that simple. It's the state laws that trip you up when it comes to the more restrictive states... -
better watch the attitude...sorry you dont agree with me

Hey, you've already called us paranoid troublemakers... -
I have invited a fed dot officer to joing this thread we will see what he has to say, i am not a law book but if you drive 48 and cant have a gun in the truck in all 48 then you cant have a gun.
-
LOL nice try i said you must be paranoid or a troublemaker that is not calling you that just an observation
