It will still be a Tier one catagory with the requirement that you maintain enough physical fitness to pass a Long form DOT exam.
If you are that fit at 56, more power to you. Im not far behind you and am already done. Although the spirit and experience will never be taken.
As far as I am concerned age is irrelevant in trucking and aviation, we have seniors approaching 90 still driving semis. There is nothing apparent in the law preventing that. Even a few in general aviation.

Yes, it's worth it. Many drivers started a new career in trucking when they were in there 50's, 60's, 70's.
