Congrats! You got VERY well paid job. Denver CO-Dickinson ND is 600 miles. 3 runs a month =3600 miles a month or 43 200miles a year.
    $70 000/43200=$1.62/mile.
    Yeah you hit a jockpot!
    Seriously tough, ain't happening dude.

My favorite ex pulls that kind of trailer he said they are top heavy and you have to learn how to regulate the pressure when your blowing the tanks out.

Speak to a driver doing that job before you make a decision. All bosses think their unfilled jobs are AWESOME. The details from other drivers are important to hear. I think you will like tanker. I've recently switched from a long time pulling vans. Tanker customers are so nice and professional.
Do they pay on W-2 or 1099, and you pay your own taxes? Some 1099 companies hook newbies by conveniently forgetting to tell you the numbers they are quoting are inflated because it's before taxes and you have no benefits. Taking a pet OTR is nice, but some work.

    It doesn't matter whether it's W2 or 1099.He won't get $1.62 a mile period.

Even 3 times a week would be a good deal.

It looks like a standard bulk tanker. I don't pull those, but I assumed the ones I see are 48 foot. Most tankers are loaded so you are just under 80k gross. You don't really benefit from an extra 5 feet of trailer like with a dry box where many loads can fill a trailer and not be 40k. One thing I like about tanker is about half of my miles are with an empty trailer. Man life is so easy pulling an empty trailer. I use my empty miles to stay off the interstates and bypass the fuster cluck around most middle and large cities.

I'm pretty sure that's 48 feet. That's what you want anyway. After pulling 53 ft vans for 2 decades, pulling 48 ft tankers, especially parking is a treat. Here's a big bonus when parking at truck stops. Tankers can nose in to parking spaces without leaving their trailer sticking out 5 feet beyond everybody else's noses and blocking visibility or making it hard to park next to. You can save your hood from a Swift driver or get away from the reefer noise. I nose in sometimes when I'm going to run my APU and I know some drivers will not. I've had my airlines tampered with for running my APU.
