I have a stupid question. When getting a reefer wash out at the blue beacon, do they use soap? A friend of mine got one done at a quala tank wash and they didn't use soap inside, just pressure washed it. I asked them about it and they claim they never use soap.

Um, do you not have a list of questions you ask about in each load? Things like, what's the commodity, weight, special routing, special requirements like certain number of load locks or special equipment or age of equipment, these are all things that I go through when I'm booking loads. Also important to ask is what's the detention policy for this load?

After taking a step back, and rereading what was posted, I have to say I'm in the wrong.

I run into so many crybaby drivers out here, and it really gets old, and that's how I took what @freightwipper posted. I misunderstood, completely on me.

@freightwipper, all you did was ask a question and share an experience, and I fully apologize for my response to you.

Sure I ask questions but that doesn't mean they give me answers or tell me the truth.
All my loads have been from different brokers, if I was solely working with a couple people I could trust I'm sure my experience would be different.

Have a legit question for wipper, not looking to start another dust up on this thread. I am not sure if my question was answered earlier in this thread. I check in on it from time to time but do not have time to read every post.

I know (or believe) that you are now responsible for some expenses that Schneider covered as part of their lease set up when you were with them versus now where you have to take care of that on your own. Wondering what specifically they were? Also what discounts do you now have or not have versus SNI?

Biggest thing is if you take your truck elsewhere you need to get your own plates.
With them they charge you weekly for the plates you offer you.

And Hauling reefer you have to deal with some of the skuzziest of the skuzzy in the industry. Always somebody trying to stick you unless you can find a few good reliable customers.

you are also dealing with shipping from the warehouse and store deliveries, he deals with the receiving dept. SNI enjoys drop assignments at wallyworld for deliveries most of the time.
