Do this with egg cartons. Get tractor, trailer, and trailer washout before going to shipper. Then, get Tractor and trailer washed again before getting to receiver.

I do occasionally run loads from a supplier to the warehouse though. Usually either water, eggs, or frozen goods. Water is 50-50 live load or d/h. Eggs and frozen are always d/h (so far). I did get a load of turkeys once that was live load. -
TQL stuck it to me today. Went to pick up a load in Rochelle with a 0700-2200 load window. Somebody was lying, because the shipper said it was a 2200 appointment, but not until after I had sit in a dock for over 3 hours. In close to three months, this is the 3rd TQL load I have done, and I have done one CH Robinson load. They are the last two names I look at. Only reason I did my 2nd TQL load is because they called me at the house 3 times, three different brokers, all begging me to go pick up a load. It took them almost $6/mile to get me out of the house, pick up the load, then go back home for the weekend and deliver it on Monday morning.freightwipper and SingingWolf Thank this. -

yeah TQL has lied to me most of the time but so far I've done the most loads through them.
Surprisingly they've paid very well, if they didn't I'd be done with them already.SingingWolf Thanks this. -

If not one of those trying to get one over, the broker would try and say you agreed to something not on the rate con. -
As for that broker that lied, it was a on what the product was I was suppose to be hauling. It was booked as a 15k lbs of bbq grills. I get there and it's 45k lbs of wood pellets for the bbq grills. I told that broker where he could shove his load and left the shipper without the load. I agree to do something and that's what I'll do, but it be not what I agreed to then you're sol or you're paying me more!SingingWolf Thanks this.
