While you are being loaded is the time to be applying placards, if possible. Not in the 8 seconds between getting your BOL and when next driver is whining about you being in the door.

First, use a squeegee to get most of the water off. I keep a 12" hand squeegee in my tool box for this purpose. Then towel it dry. Sometimes I need to apply a degreaser and wipe it clean if there's a lot of road grime, oil, or fracking fluid.

Try duct tape and make sure the area is clean so buy a roll of paper towels. Also make sure to get extra placards from the shipper.Don't forget to stop every so often and check your placards.

Magnet placcard holders? I have used them before. Once you finish the load just take them off

So what do you do if it is raining at the time?
No amount of squeegeeing and towel drying will make any difference, will it?

    Lepton1 Thanks this.
