You have completely ruined your glorious career as a fleet manager.
Dave_in_AZ and buddyd157 Thank this. -
Uh have any of you recent ####### trolls applied to landstar?!? News flash your MVR is your resume in this field especially on a higher tier company like LS. Sorry should have specified this question was posed to non Swift company driver hillbillies...
I have been driving for 8 years now, crystal clear driving record for tickets or at fault accidents. LS rejected my app because another driver hit me, he was at fault and issued a ticket. Soooo yes my concern is relevant. Higher level transport companies look for ANY REASON to reject new hires.Last edited: Dec 6, 2017

Hire a lawyer and get it dismissed if you are worried about it.

To quote Bon Scott......" I tell you folks, it's harder than it looks................"
You do need to be pure as the driven snow, or at least know somebody, to get here yes.
But don't you see I tiny disparity between an accident, and a registration ticket?
I don't suppose you'd want to share the details with us of said accident? -
Yes, while on dispatch a semi side swiped my trailer, he was issued a ticket and i was compensated by his insurance. A month later a car hit my rear quarter panel of my personal pickup truck. He was issued a ticket and his insurance paid for the damage. In neither case was i ticketed. LS told me to reapply on Jan 1st 2018, no explination given. i called qualstar to speak to a manager to try to explain i never was cited in either accident, and was told if i ask them again i will be permently banned. I sold my fleet comprised of contracted specialized trucks and bought a landstar straight truck (in my profile pic) assuming i would be quickly hired. now i am unemployed and walking on eggshells unsure why i was disqualed and wanted a clean record before reapplying on jan 1st. Todays ticked got me nervous as landstar will disqualify drivers for being the victim of accidents... so a non reg ticket might given them more ammo...
Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
I got todays ticket for being a dumb-### and accidently signing up for paperless notifications of registration. Nothing came in the mail and the emails were in my spam box. Yes i was a careless dumb-### for not even thinking about my personal car, but i have 8 vehicles (7 actively registered) and this one plates expired and i slipped.

And the coldness that you've been shown in hiring process is only amplified by operations.
That give you the warm & fuzzy?TowHaul Thanks this. -

Tell me more. I assumed qualstar was another company or division. Maybe i do not want to make the switch if the rest of the company is anything like them. The recruiting team seemed nice, so a bit confusing.
