I am not current on the supercars these days, Im still stuck in the early 70's with my good old 351 and the things I would have loved to do to it considering it's minor limitations at top end.
Supercars are in a totally different realm, you cannot even change a plug without busting out a thousand dollars. Way out of my budget. I'll just stick with the older cars and trucks thank you. Although I am impressed with the Bugatti's ability to generate power at 230 and beyond where most others would have starved.Oldironfan Thanks this. -
Let us not forget the number of miles put on a supercar over the period of its life. A 1989 Countach might have 20,000 miles on it, so...

Ding Ding Ding. I think we have a winner here. Letting it idle down for 3 to 5 minutes is the old school ticket.aussiejosh, Oldironfan and Joetro Thank this.

Wrench tells me it's a crap shoot on ISX turbos.
He said he's seen new factory turbos or remans fail quickly, and he's seen generic go 500K.
Probably other issues with the engine.
You can get all the best parts, put it together and it will be the hugest POS ever, because they don't jive with each other. -
It's what I've always done, but, then again, I've never run an overengineered fustercluck of a turbo, either.

The amazing ISX!! Robbing owners pockets since inception.

I have the variable on mine. Sometimes I think it's going to turn into a stalk of bananas.Joetro Thanks this.
