Almost, 93k something as of today. I picked it up in April brand new. I guess it would already be at 100k but I took two weeks off in September when the hurricanes hit, I stayed in PA and watched Houston blub blub blub blub...77fib77 Thanks this.

I have a 14 with 289k . I do tanker work too. Ac compressor went I'll never go to a TA for that again.

I would put serious money on the fact that a good 75% of truck issues encountered by anyone is from letting just ONE idiot fix ONE thing, and then 300 miles later, three other things catch on fire when you're in some other version of fux-ville.
I'm kind of worried about the SNBC bulk equipment on this thing. I heard the pump alone is about 10k, and the company shop said their main method of repair is to just 'swap them out.' then there's the hydropack, which I can't seem to find maintenance manuals on yet, and the company mechanics go cross eyed when I ask questions about the stuff. Oh yeah, and it's set up for HIT, but DD13s don't have coolant filters. So every time I plug into a HIT load my coolant tank gets a bunch of poo in it. I paid to have it flushed at 75k, now I'm going to try to avoid long haul HIT loads.77fib77 Thanks this. -
1600 rpm is perfect at 75 mph you should be getting pretty good fuel economy running like that although you'd get better running at 65mph.Lepton1 Thanks this.

HIT I don't do thankfully. TA overcharged on everything. The AC is on the same belt as the alternator. Next time Uber and Freightliner.

Same here with the LP Schneider cookie-cutter bulk cascadia. I'm looking into swapping the rear end gears out for something more suited to torque, but i'm unsure of how log to go. I was thinking 65mph @ 1550-1600 would be better suited to bulk rather than the 75mph @ 1600 I have now, but I don't know what ratio that would be. I have the 2.47 Schneider speeder gearing currently. Is 65/1600 enough, or should it be at a higher rpm?

I'm not missing any power, in 1st or 2nd it could probably climb a wall, if I need more power I just drop a gear and let it scream, better for the emissions stuff to keep everything cooking hot. I just wish it had one or two more on the top, just for freeway speeds, to drop 70mph back down to 1300rpm. The fuel gauge gets depression at 70mph.

Compared to the SNI company trucks that have 2.93 gearing, to me, the loss of power/torque is noticable. With heavy loads now, I can barely maintain speed, let alone accelerate on slight inclines, whereas before, there wasn't as much of an issue (besides the obvious speed limiting). Hills that before could be climbed in 9th gear, now require 8th or lower to maintain speed. Being able to do 80 is nice, but i'd rather have a functional truck, than a fast one.
