There can be multiple reasons to sudden poor fuel mileage. I notice a lot of truck stops have biodiesel and you might be running a winter blend diesel. These are just 2 common reasons to a sudden poor fuel economy on a DD15. Do you feel a power loss when you're hauling your load or just bad fuel economy?

jus bad fuel economy. thx 4 info

You could try this while you wait. That's what Freightliner would do if it wasn't throwing any codes.

Any update on this? Did your mpg return or did you end up needing a repair?

sounds similar to what I'm going through. 1 cylinder kit. Liner had a crack in it. DD15 cylinder liners are really hard to find right now.
I'm not a mechanic, so can't offer much in solution for your stalling problem. To me stalling points to fuel supply, but that that's a guess. I highly recommend finding a certified Detroit Diesel mechanic and shop to analyze the issue and codes if your mechanic is not. I found a non-dealer certified mechanic who was very helpful with analysis and guidance: Detroit Find a Dealer | Demand Detroit -

This might just be what you get with city driving. Normally it's the highway runners getting the good mpg
