Inframe for a 60 Series Detroit 14L

    For what it's worth, the bull gears in the 14-liters with the compact gear train up front (2002-on) aren't nearly as much concern as the older 12.7 variants. Mine had 1.4million miles on the original when I got rid of it. A lot of people just automatically equate Detroit Series 60 with bull gear issues, and it's not necessarily the case.

    I would recommend getting bull gear replaced if getting an inframe cause if that goes your motor is cooked

    Bull gear on my truck has the bushings instead of bearings. Gonna get it checked but I believe the bushings hold up better over time.

    Trying to get this truck in good condition and also applying for authority. I may not have any hair by the time this is all over. Whew!
