Question from Husband and Wife Team

    My husband and I are thinking about driving as a team. Neither of us has any experience or training. We want to do this because we want to work together, but are having a hard time finding a company that will train us together on the road. We can get our CDL either with a local school or with a trucking company, but we won't train with anyone who will separate us. We have only found Covenant who will train us together, but they seem to have a very bad reputation. Is there any other company out there that will train us together?

    We would love any leads on this. We are calling around, but so far haven't found anyone.

    IMO it's gonna be tough to find one. But then again I have no idea. Hubby taught me how to drive.

    You will probably have to be trained separately. That or one of you will have to get the CDL, go through training, get some miles on, and then train the other. There can only be so many people in one rig.

    I thought Covenant trains you together, could be wrong about that though. Not that I would really like to drive for them anyhow.

    My advice to you is.....get trained separately, gain more confidence on your own, rather than depending on hubby being there. I speaking of my own experience here, always having your better half there to bail you out, made me lazy about certain things.

    Now I know how to do all them things, I had to learn them quickly when I was all of a sudden by myself, and wished I had more confidence in my abilities before.
